Lundgren Management Selected for the Third Time As CM for Upcoming Modernization Project With Richland School District!July 25th, 2007 On May 21, 2007, Lundgren Management’s contract was officially approved by the five members of Richland School District’s Board of Trustees for Construction Management Services for the modernization of the District’s only junior high, Richland Junior High School. This will be the third project that Lundgren has been selected to manage for Richland School District, the first being the new Sequoia Elementary School, and the second being the new kindergarten buildings at Redwood Elementary School. The modernization of Richland Junior High School commenced on July 9th. Phase one will begin with demolition of rooms 314 to 318 and then move to rooms 306 to 313. All of these rooms will receive new air conditioning and heating, new drop ceilings, carpet and major electrical upgrades to the buildings. Other upgrades will be made to the data wiring, security and fire alarm devices and control units. Also, two student and one staff restrooms at the south end of the building will be totally redone with new tile, fixtures and partitions. The school office will receive new air conditioning units and a new roof. Phase one is scheduled for completion by December 15, 2007. Phase two which will include rooms 301 to 304 and the Technology Lab will begin January 5, 2008 and is scheduled to be completed by April 30th. Lundgren Management will be providing preconstruction, construction and close-out services to the Richland School District, utilizing the multiple prime delivery method.
