“Wasco Union School District’'s newest school slated for operation by fall school opening, is progressing along towards completion and is on schedule.  Teresa Burke Elementary School located on the corner of Filburn and Griffith Avenues has moved from the planning stages to the construction stages with all parts and participants working together well”.   - WUSD Website

 WUSD is currently comprised of three elementary schools and one middle school educating over 3,200 pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students. Teresa Burke will be the fourth elementary school for the District.  The new campus, situated on 14 acres, will include 41 re-locatable classrooms with 4 restroom buildings placed on concrete stem wall foundations and the permanent construction of an Administration Building and Multi-Purpose Building.

The project is being managed by Lundgren Management utilizing the multi-prime delivery method.  The work is divided into 31 bid packages in order to achieve the most competitive bidding possible and to assure coverage of work scopes with the best contractors. 

As completion nears on the Teresa Burke project, Lundgren is extremely excited about the opportunity to also be managing the newest project for the Wasco Union School District, School #5.  Lundgren was selected by the District early in the year and began pre-construction services in aiding the District with their Architect Selection in April.  BFGC Architecture, the same architect for the Teresa Burke Project, will be designing the newest addition to WUSD.  This new elementary school will serve grades k-5 on approximately 18.5 acres and will be a mirror image of Teresa Burke Elementary.
