Lundgren Management Selected As CM For The First Elementary School In The Northeast Area For BCSD!May 25th, 2007 On May 14, 2007 Lundgren Management was officially notified by Ruben Solis, Facilities Director for the Bakersfield City School District, that Lundgren was selected for Construction Management Services for the first elementary school in the northeast area for the Bakersfield City School District. The Bakersfield City School District, which is the largest non-unified pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade district in California, will be adding another elementary school to go along with 33 others. The District will now consist of 43 schools serving over 28,000 students. The future elementary school, currently known as “school #4”, is designed by Ordiz-Melby Architects and will be constructed on an 18 acre hillside location in the northeast region of Bakersfield. The school will be serving approximately 700 students. Lundgren Management will be providing preconstruction, construction and close-out services to the Bakersfield City School District utilizing the multiple prime delivery method.
